The BBCN name proclaims the newly merged banks' heightened dedication and service to its customers and the community. The name procured its roots from the two merged bank's heritage of advancement and the decades long partnership with the community's growing business.

The BBCN symbol represents the harmonious and synergistic unification of the merged banks. The wedlock of the letter "C" which stands for Center Bank and the letter "N" which stands for Nara Bank produces the four new shapes pledging the unified banks' continued growth from their combined experiences and knowledge.
